8. Alberto Del Rio

wikiThese days, the WWE have a culture where titles are passed around like hot potatoes on a scorching Summer afternoon. No longer (with the exception of CM Punk's epic reign of 434 days) do titles stay around the same waist for a long period - and nobody proves that more than Alberto Del Rio. Again, this isn't Del Rio's fault - he isn't exactly going to refuse the opportunity to become WWE Champion for a month before dropping it. But the WWE have a responsibility to ensure the profile of their championships don't diminish, and they are failing that concept massively at the moment. Two World Heavyweight Championship reigns are on Del Rio's CV, as well as two WWE Championships. Perhaps the more concerning factor though, is that his two WWE Championship reigns have amounted to just 84 days. That's little over than a month each time - which is absolutely ridiculous. One reign of five or six months would have excused Del Rio from inclusion on this list. But the stark reality is that he's more WWE Championship reigns than Chris Jericho. That's not good enough.
