10 Stories WWE Could Execute Right Now
1. The Creepy Nutcase Triumvirate
The supernatural has been missing from the WWE for a while, with Bray Wyatt the only real standard bearer for the weird and unexpected. NXT has another disciple of the dark, however, in hard-hitting indy-style competitor Aleister Black, who has a dramatic ring image and some of the coolest music in the company.
Three is the magic number, especially when it's black magic. An existing roster member could have a makeover into a creepy cultist of the dark, or another appropriate talent could be called up from NXT.
The three form a triumvirate with, on paper at least, no leader, a skin-crawling version of the Shield whose aim is to destroy every vestige of sanity and civilisation in the WWE. The era of faux-magic powers and voodoo curses are long gone, so the Triumvirate's chief weapons are psychological warfare, inscrutability, unpredictability and complete ruthlessness.
The Triumvirate would be not only a startling and memorable sight, but a rallying point for directionless faces to clash with and a device for Creative to milk for feuds and storylines for potentially years to come.
