10 Storyline Moments WWE Can’t Afford To Book
6. AJ Styles = Squash Match Fodder
Millions of wrestling fans probably began thinking of how WWE could split Jordan Omogbehin from AJ Styles as soon as the former ninja and doorman appeared alongside AJ on the 19 October episode of Raw. That's just how it goes; people aren't dumb, and they know a split is coming eventually.
That's pro wrasslin' 101.
It'd be refreshing if WWE tried something new. Instead of having Styles abuse his seniority in the partnership (thus leading to a ticked off Omogbehin turning babyface and cutting him down), the company might want to think about positioning AJ as someone who'd like to see Jordan fly.
It's hard to see what they'd gain from having him slap Omogbehin like Bobby Heenan whacking André The Giant, and nobody needs to see AJ freakin' Styles take a quick squash match loss. He can help get his bodyguard over, but only if he's booked to be proud of WWE's new monster.
