Appearing for the second time on this list being bogged down by an incapable opponent, The Undertaker just couldn't catch a break many times throughout his tenure. Thankfully, WWE had since rectified a lot of their mistakes, putting the man opposite great performers such as Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Edge over the years, instead of bum notes like Jon Heidenreich. Sometimes, a wrestler comes along who just doesn't really look like he grasps what the industry is all about - their matches are dull and awkward-looking, and they don't seem to show much aptitude for any aspect of the business. Heidenreich perhaps sums that up better than most, but that can't change the fact WWE had high hopes that he'd be a top heel. The company tried everything with the guy, even going so far as to make him a new member of the Legion Of Doom, which went down about as well as you'd imagine. Facing 'Taker in high profile bouts at the likes of the 2004 Survivor Series, as well as the subsequent month at Armageddon and then Royal Rumble (in a Casket Match), Heidenreich was given every opportunity to get over with fans, but he just couldn't really do it. What other strange pushes do you remember in WWE? Whether the fault of the wrestler or the company, are there any others which can match the ones on this list?
