I love puns. Who doesn't love puns? Fools, that who. In the world of professional wrestling, if you can work some form of violence into your name and use it as a catchphrase or t-shirt slogan, the chances are I'm going to want to take your money. If Chavo Guerrero opened a bowling alley called Chavo's Gue-Spare-Oh, I'd be all over that.

In September 2014, WWE filed an application to trademark the word 'slayomi'. Now it doesn't take a genius to work out that this was going to be something used by WWE wrestler and former Funkadactyl, Naomi. I'm not a huge Naomi fan, but print 'slayomi' on a shirt and you have my money.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
