10 Substitutions That Could Improve WWE Survivor Series 2021 Teams
3. Asuka Replaces Queen Zelina
After four months away, Nobody would be ready for Asuka.
In a cruel bit of irony, Asuka's last major appearance for WWE before her absence was during the first major show back in front of crowds at July's Money In The Bank. While this entry is entirely dependent on the timetable for Asuka’s return from an apparent hand injury, there’s no question that a surprise return of ‘The Empress’ at Survivor Series breathes life into a somewhat underwhelming lineup and would be far more warmly received than the newly-crowned Queen.
In addition to bolstering an already star-studded team that includes new number one contender Liv Morgan and the Women's Tag Team Champions, an eleventh-hour addition of Asuka presents a problem that Team SmackDown isn’t prepared for and gives the likes of Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley and the rest of the Red Team something to contemplate as each pursues the RAW Women’s Championship in the months to come.
