10 Superstars Who Could Be WWE's Next Top Heels
2. Sasha Banks
Having Sasha Banks turn face was the right call. Team B.A.D was a flash in the pan that never really went anywhere, and fans across the globe derailed almost every women's segment not featuring The Boss by chanting "We want Sasha" at the top of their collective voice.
Having said that, Banks's true calling is as a dominant and independent heel. The very essence of 'The Boss' character is built on a sense of self-importance and perceived success, be it stylistic, financial or athletic. With Bayley now RAW Women's Champion, the clock has begun ticking for a Sasha Banks heel turn, as fans eagerly await a chance to relive the glory days of Sasha and Bayley's rip-roaring NXT rivalry.
What made that feud (and Sasha's heel championship run as a whole) work so well was that both characters played their roles to a T. Bayley was the naive and somewhat pathetic super fan, while Sasha was the narcissistic and entitled champion with a serious superiority complex. Her promos and in-ring mannerisms had an extra layer of detail that's been missing since she began vying for Charlotte's belt last year, and when WWE do decide to pull the trigger on a turn, it'll be refreshing to have the old Boss back.
