...and not just because he's got the fat end of four years left on his contract.

Despite Adam Cole setting up a legacy rivalry with Kenny Omega during his first seconds with the organisation back in 2021, the former Undisputed Elite leader may be in an even better position due to 'The Cleaner's current suspension.

Cole worked so frequently during his first run with the company that his specialness started to evaporate as a result. The "Adam Cole Bay Bay" and "BOOM!" chants weren't going anywhere, but Cole himself had to when injuries forced him out of the main events and onto the bench. He's promising to "run sh*t" when he returns, and will certainly be required to do just that if the company continues to look lean towards the top end of the card. It's with that in mind that a reunion with his former mentors Shawn Michaels and Triple H looks unlikely for now.
