10 Tag Teams Where Both Wrestlers Were Marty Jannetty

9. The Godwinns

At Badd Blood 1997, the same night that Hell in a Cell and Kane both debuted, the tag team championships were won by two pig farmers.

These were the Godwinns; Henry O. Godwinn (Mark Canterbury) and Phineas I. Godwinn (Dennis Knight). This was actually their second tag title run, as they had been a staple of the division for years. Unfortunately, the times were a-changin' and there wouldn't be much room for the hog-loving duo going forward.

After a brief run as Southern Justice alongside Jeff Jarrett, Canterbury suffered a neck injury that would eventually lead to him stepping away from the ring altogether. WWE needed something for his partner to do, so they turned him to the dark side.

Knight was repackaged as Mideon, a low-level underling in The Ministry of Darkness. There are two highlights of this run. One was when he 'won' the European Championship after he found the belt in Shane McMahon's bag. The other was his 'Naked Mideon' phase, which is exactly what you think it is.

For various reasons - only some of which pertain to being naked - neither Canterbury nor Knight were destined for superstardom.
