10 Tag Teams WWE Should Make Right Now

5. Drew McIntyre & Heath Slater

Drew McIntyre's return to NXT is accompanied by an honest and believable story of complacency as the 'Chosen One' and a subsequent slide down the ladder until near-oblivion. His tale of redemption could net him the NXT title and creates the possibility of re-debuting on the main WWE roster.

That creates an unusual situation where an old faction is reunited in its entirety. 3MB, the entertaining team of fake rock star jobbers, looked like it was gone forever when Mahal and McIntyre were let go. Now Mahal is the WWE champion, McIntyre has a serious face character, and only Heath Slater still retains his goofiness.

McIntyre and Slater make a natural pairing as they join together once more to face the threat of their one-time bandmate Mahal. A programme with the Singh Brothers, who have tag team experience of their own as the Bollywood Boyz, could be an entertaining sideshow to whatever Mahal is up to, and would probably be less dangerous to the Singhs than being bounced off the furniture by Randy Orton again.
