10 Things AEW Fans Want After Double Or Nothing

5. Shorter Shows

One of the biggest criticisms of WWE in recent years has been the length of its pay-per-views.

Ever since the company moved its business to the WWE Network, they've had a lot more control over how long their big shows can be. The apex of this came at this year's WrestleMania, which had a run time of approximately seven-and-a-half hours. That's almost a full working day.

It's hard to stay focused for such a long period of time and that's just watching it at home. Imagine being there live? These ridiculous run times have left many fans yearning for a return to the two or three hour pay-per-views of old, but it doesn't look like WWE are going that way any time soon.

AEW had the opportunity to show wrestling fans that a shorter PPV could be as effective and even more enjoyable than a longer show. Granted they proved this, but only by about two hours, as Double Or Nothing ran for almost five including its pre-show.

There was a lot to pack in and granted this is AEW's first try, but five hours is still far too long for a wrestling show.
