When The Shield debuted, they looked unbeatable. In fact, as a group they went almost eight months without a pinfall or submission defeat, before succumbing to the team of Daniel Bryan, Kane and Randy Orton. Even then, it was Dean Ambrose who was made to submit. Roman Reigns was even more dominant, going almost an entire year unpinned before Cody Rhodes managed it on the October 14th 2013 edition of Monday Night Raw. The defeat cost Reigns and Ambrose their Tag Team Championships but only came following a knockout punch by Big Show to Reigns.
