10 Things That Would Happen If WWE Seriously Started Listening To The Fans
6. Raw Would Have A Better Flow & Ratings Would Improve
This writer is what could be considered a hardcore fan. Y'know the kind, the type who'd happily stay up until 4am on school nights as a teenager to watch pay-per-views, and the kind of dude who analyses storyline nuances, character details and financial reports endlessly to see how WWE go about their business.
Even he can't sit through an entire three-hour episode of Raw in one sitting.
Therein lies the problem. Raw, which is supposed to be WWE's top show every week, has become a tiresome trudge that doesn't hold interest outside of a few matches or segments. Gone is the provocative blast the show used to be, and that's (partly, at least) because WWE stopped listening to what fans want.
There's no competition, the company are making a ton of money, blah, blah, blah. None of that matters to fans who just want to be entertained and not feel like the product they support is pulling in a different direction. With some thought, and some open ears, Raw would become a better show and might pull in some lapsed viewers again.
