10 Things That Would Improve WWE Brand Split

6. Lessen Needless Focus On Authority Figures

Seeing Kurt Angle return to WWE television was great; that cannot be denied. Already, though, Angle has slotted right into the same position Mick Foley had - a frustrated on-air authority figure who experiences a lack of respect from the superstars he's supposed to be in control of.

Who does this help? It certainly does nothing for Angle, because WWE will be promoting him as a wrestler himself once he settles back into the promotion's way of doing things. Look elsewhere: what does Braun Strowman gain from ridiculing someone who won't fight back?

WWE could be doing with rubbishing the entire Commissioner/General Manager concept for a while. It's overdone and needs a rest. Fans tuning into Raw and SmackDown don't require an in-person explanation for why every match is happening or why one wrestler is upset at another.

It's time to abolish authority figures for a while, or at least only have that dynamic on one brand.
