10 Things That Would Improve WWE Brand Split

2. Split That Third Hour From Monday Nights In Half

Both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live air on the USA Network across a 24-hour period. As they exist on the same network, would it really be too much of a stretch for Vince McMahon to ask the station if they could move some time around?

The thinking here is that splitting Raw's third hour of coverage in half and giving 30 minutes to SmackDown on Tuesdays would greatly enhance both shows. Suddenly, Raw is a little shorter (thus appeasing those who believe the current 3-hour format is just too long) and SmackDown has some extra time to work with.

One snag here may be the fact that both shows wouldn't finish at the top of the hour, and that could throw scheduling for USA into disarray. It's hardly impossible though. Having both major shows the same length destroys the argument that Raw will forever be WWE's flagship.

Better yet, potential advertisers wouldn't be put off because they'd still be offered prime time slots.
