Towards the end of the pod, Bischoff revealed the exact moment he knew his WWE return wasn't going to work out.

He'd just arrived back home from a meeting at 4am. Something he was passionate about (a creative idea, perhaps) was shut down without a second thought, and that wound him up. When he got back to his apartment in Stamford, Eric decided he didn't want to storm into the house and wake up his sleeping wife.

Feeling stressed, he sat down on a park bench outside and tried to decompress. The sweaty suit he'd been wearing for around 18 hours wasn't helping things, and neither were cops circling around wondering why some dude in his 60s was camped out on a bench in the middle of the night.

Eric didn't want to admit it, but he knew deep down inside that life in WWE wasn't going to work. When Conrad asked if he felt like he was treated with respect by Vince during his return, Bisch replied, "Not any more or any less than anyone else".

That perhaps says it all.
