10 Things We Learned From The Undertaker On Stephanie McMahon's WWE Show

It's pretty amazing that Buzz Sawyer didn't put him off for life though.

The surly journeyman was the guy who initially trained The Undertaker, but not for too long. Buzz wasn't exactly professional, was always in a bad mood, and he'd even answered the door "butt naked" during their very first meeting. It's a wonder Calaway didn't turn around and go home straight away. Sawyer did not make a good first impression on the young hopeful who wanted to train with him, and he wasn't the only one; ex-NWA star Magnum TA had a similarly foul experience with Buzz.

Buzz didn't even have a ring for his trainees to work and learn in. They worked out literally on the street, which must've made for a bizarre visual to the neighbours. When 'Taker asked if they'd ever get to step foot inside the wrestling rings he saw on TV, Sawyer snapped that he was still waiting for the right part to complete a ring he already had. Ahem.

Then, Undertaker knocked on his door one day for training as usual but there was no answer. It turned out that Buzz had moved on "to a different territory" without telling anybody. Stephanie was shocked by this, and by the fact that it didn't put her future friend off pursuing a career in the industry.

There had to be a bit of showmanship to Steph's response. She'll have heard all the horror stories going about crooked old veterans who stole money from trainees and did a runner. In essence, that's precisely what Sawyer had done to a future WWE Hall Of Famer and all time great.
