10 Things We Learned From WWE Raw (April 10)

1. The Beatdown

Almost 20 years ago to the day, Steve Austin and Bret Hart contested one of the hottest Raw angles in the show's history. In a show-long battle that still holds up today, the pair fought through a protracted street fight that ultimately lead to 'The Rattlesnake' hijacking an ambulance to further assault 'The Hitman' after his prior damage had left the 'Excellence of Execution' in need of medical help.

It may take another 20 years to determine if this ambulance-related assault was even better, but in the cold light of the post-WrestleMania WWE, it's already the beating of the year.

Interrupting a dull interview with Michael Cole, Braun Strowman made good on his word to destroy Roman Reigns by doing exactly that.

Roman may have claimed the yard, but Braun took over the house.

Fresh off his divisive victory over The Undertaker less than two weeks ago, 'The Big Dog' was mercilessly booed by a partisan Orlando crowd last week, and suffered the same fate again before Strowman's relentless assault. The boos only switched to cheers as the evisceration commenced.

The lengthy beating saw Reigns get thrown through tables and all over the backstage area, before being removed from the ambulance he was loaded into then viciously hurled to the ground. Braun tipped over the ambulance when Reigns was reloaded back in to underscore his point.
