1. Roman Reigns And Daniel Bryan Had A Very Competitive Match
The best match of the night was the main event with Roman Reigns defeating Daniel Bryan. Any time the main event of a show is the best match that's a positive because really that's what people are most interested in. It wasn't at the same level as the Lesnar/Cena/Rollins triple threat at the Royal Rumble and it's not going to be a pick for match of the year, but it was still very good. What this match did was remind us again of how great Bryan is in the ring. He's a great mix of technical wrestling, highspots, counter holds and intelligence. When he was out for eight months he was really missed. Now that he's back it's just a reminder of how awesome he is. Bryan was there to give Reigns the best match possible. That's what they did. Reigns was able to hang with the best in the world with some great nearfalls and he even kicked out of Bryan's running knee, which Michael Cole mentioned has never been kicked out before. Did the right guy win? In my opinion, no. However, Vince McMahon wants to make Roman Reigns into this big star this year and he didn't want to change it. The focus is now on Reigns vs. Lesnar at WrestleMania. WWE has a long way to go to make people believe that Reigns is ready to main event a WrestleMania against somebody the caliber of Lesnar. Expect Paul Heyman to do one of the greatest sell jobs of his career to get people interested. Have faith in him. He usually delivers. If you missed Fastlane you can skip most of it, watch the last hour and you'll see the best parts.
