10 Things WWE Needs To Do Right Now To Save Raw

2. Make The Authority Pick A Side

Unlike some, I don't have a problem with The Authority being on TV every week. Watch some Attitude Era Raws back, and you'll see just how often Vince McMahon and his Corporation took up screen time. The problem is that A) they're constantly hogging central storylines that no one really cares about, and B) more importantly, they still cannot seem to decide if they're heels or faces, and It. Is. Infuriating. For all intents and purposes, Trips and Steph seem, on the surface at least, to be heels. Good. They're both brilliant at it, and when they've been at their best recently - Trips against Bryan last year and Steph against Brie Bella soon after - it's been great fun. Why, then, do they feel the need to constantly undermine and punish their own, personally selected world champion, and - even more bafflingly - often turn up before and during shows to hype up the crowd?! We know it's a show and we know that everyone's best buddies once the cameras stop rolling, but when you have Steph slagging off the crowd one minute and then fishing for cheap pops the next, it creates an extremely confusing dynamic that makes it impossible to get emotionally invested in storylines. Be faces, be heels, either can work: just please pick one and stick to it. Please?
