10 Things WWE Should Borrow From Other Sports

3. A No Commentary Feed

We're not trying to do Michael Cole and Corey Graves out of a job here (well not Graves, anyway), but it's no secret that WWE commentary can sometimes get on one's nerves. It's the incessant bickering, the constant oneupmanship, the endless hashtag references.

So how about this as a solution? Give fans the option of watching the action unfold without any announce team. This might not be possible on Raw and SmackDown, but they could certainly introduce it as a Network feature for pay-per-views without much hassle.

No commentary feeds are already used in some sports, and it offers fans a much different viewing experience. Instead of someone describing what's happening as though you don't have your own pair of eyes, you get to hear the crowd roar as though you were there in person.

Admittedly there are one or two challenges wrestling would present that aren't found in, say, football and tennis, namely the fact that the absence of commentary would make it easier to hear wrestlers call spots in the ring. But come on: how many of us still think it's real anyway?
