10 Things WWE Should Borrow From Other Sports

4. Safety First

As we've learned over the last two years, nobody can accuse WWE of being lax when it comes to the topic of head injuries. As with most sports, banging your noggin means an exhaustive medical examination the second you go back through the curtain.

On the other hand, things like Roman Reigns and Randy Orton getting busted open the "hard way" by Brock Lesnar, not to mention Vince McMahon's cringe-inducing clash of heads with Kevin Owens? Are they really necessary?

Clearly, deliberate theatrics like this aren't an inherent part of golf and badminton, but the athletes' safety tends to be all important, so much so that they are prepared to stop the game in order for one of them to receive treatment.

But forget other sports - WWE would do well here to tear a page out of the playbook of Hollywood movies. There is such a thing as fake blood these days, you know, and it looks pretty damn convincing most of the time.
