5. That Time He Wrestled Akebono At WrestleMania 21
It's one of those matches that still has us scratching our heads wondering what WWE was thinking by putting Big Show in a sumo match against Akebono at WrestleMania 21 in Los Angeles. Maybe they were trying to appeal to Japanese wrestling fans by putting a sumo wrestler in a match at WrestleMania, but it sure wasn't visually appealing for the fans. The whole "match" went about one minute and at one point Show even signaled for his signature Chokeslam move even though it wasn't legal in a match like this. Akebono won when he threw Show out of the ring and that was the last time we ever got to see a Sumo Match at a WrestleMania. It's one we want to forget, that's for sure.
