9. Kane's First Words

It was a huge thing at the time because although we had seen him wrestle for months, he had never spoken. What could Kane possibly be sound like? Based on his appearance and lack of any sort of verbal communication, fans had no idea. As you can see in the video above, Vince McMahon was in the ring with him and he forced him to speak while his father Paul Bearer was shown watching 'at home'. Essentially, Vince wanted Kane to get the WWE Title from his arch-nemesis Steve Austin and Bearer wasn't a fan of the situation. Of course years later his voice developed and he's become a solid promo in his own right. Kane's first non-voice box aided words were 'suck it'. When Kane lost his mask he did a lot of long promos showing that even though he couldn't talk normally for years, he was perfectly fine now. That's pro wrestling.
