10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Kane
8. Embrace The Hate
Filler feuds are, famously, the worst type of feuds - a lesson fan learnt the hard way at the beginning of 2012 when John Cena, twiddling his thumbs ahead of his date with The Rock at WrestleMania XXVIII, got tangled up with Kane.
And not just any Kane either, but re-masked, Team Hell No Kane, who encouraged his opponent to "embrace the hate" of the WWE fans who jeered him, and basically join him over on wrestling's oft-maligned dark side.
Why? We're not really sure, but it has gone down as one of the most underwhelming feuds of recent times. The matches were poor, the story was nonsensical and it was all, ultimately, for naught - as Cena never even so much as flirted with a heel turn.
