10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The Usos
6. Where's Jimmy's Title Match?
When Roman Reigns became the Universal Champion in 2020, his first opponent was his cousin Jey Uso.
The two feuded throughout the fall, with
Roman defeating the younger twin in a compelling match, followed by a Hell in a
Cell I Quit Match. In their first encounter, an injured Jimmy had to throw in
the towel to stop Roman from seriously injuring his brother. Then, inside the Cell, The Tribal Chief had to resort to attacking the injured Uso to force Jey to quit.
Despite this, there has never been a matchup between Jimmy and Roman Reigns. When Jimmy returned from his injury, there was a brief conflict between the two before he eventually fell in line and joined The Bloodline. Even in May of this year, Jimmy was the one to fire the first shot in The Bloodline Civil War when he Superkicked The Head of the Table at Night of Champions, costing Roman and Solo Sikoa the Undisputed Tag Team Championships.
While the Undispited WWE Universal Champion has had a historic run on top of the wrestling world, one of the biggest remaining challengers yet to face him is Jimmy Uso. With the main event of SummerSlam set for the third title match for Jey Uso, who knows if Jimmy will ever get his moment in the spotlight.
