10 Things You Didn't Know About WWE In 2013

1. Birmingham House Show Drama

Far from just the grainy video footage above or various fan notes sent to news outlets at the time, consider this article hard confirmation that events that went down at a November 2013 Birmingham, England house show are all true - because your writer was there.

Falling deep in the middle of WWE's attempted burial of Daniel Bryan, the event was supposed to feature the 'YES' man working against Randy Orton before he was pulled at very late notice to work the other loop alongside CM Punk against The Wyatt Family.

There was significant heat in the building as Big Show entered in Bryan's place, and the boos intensified when it became apparent that this retread (and upcoming Survivor Series main event) really was the planned conclusion to the night's action.

Orton tried to direct it towards the match with a joke on the microphone about beating him up so he couldn't be there, followed by Big Show begging for "Yes" chants as he promised to do battle on Bryan's behalf. Not even the kids were having it - many left early while those that remained heaped angered scorn on all of it.

None of the wrestlers - including babyface Show, who made his own save when The Shield ran in to attack - looked pleased. It was (yet another) criminal sign of the times.
