1. Vince's Ways Are Here To Stay

Vince McMahon is an age-defying marvel. Now 71 years old, the WWE Chairman is reportedly every bit the workaholic he was back in the day, and shows no signs of slowing down. It'll take a dramatic shift in circumstances for him to finally relinquish his position at the top of the company, and it's widely assumed that when he does finally stand down, he'll pass control to his daughter and her husband.

There's a sense of optimism around a potential Triple H/Stephanie takeover. 'The Game's role in NXT's development and influence on the company's new, indie-centric signing policy has curried plenty of favour with the fans, but at the end of the day, there's little evidence to suggest his and Stephanie's reign would be any different to Vince's.

Expecting a revolution is unrealistic. Triple H's ascension may bring about some positive changes, but 'The Game' presents a remarkably similar wrestling philosophy to his father-in-law whenever he's interviewed. Both him and his wife learned everything they know about running a wrestling company from Vince, so while many still cling to the idea that everything they hate about modern wrestling will suddenly vanish when the McMahon family patriarch departs, they'd be wise to temper their expectations.
