10 Things You Learn Binge Watching Every WWE Raw From 1995

1. Vince McMahon Took The P*ss Out Of The Feds

Vince McMahon just didn't give a f*ck about the rules in '95.

For Raw's Halloween special on 30 October, he dressed up in convict stripes on commentary. Jerry Lawler even had a laugh at his gaffer's expense by teasing that McMahon could've been wearing such an outfit permanently had certain decisions gone against him.

Oh yes, the WWF definitely stuck two fingers up at the federal government here. One year earlier, Vince had been acquitted of all charges relating to steroid distribution charges, and he picked his moment to have a giggle about it all. Maybe the only surprise is that he waited until 1995 and didn't do this in October '94.

This is so typical of McMahon's ballsy, renegade attitude, and it's hilarious to look back on in 2020. To casual fans who didn't pay attention to anything other than the actual product, he was just dressing up. To those in the know though, he was thumbing his nose at the US justice system.
