10 Things You May Have Missed From Last Night's WWE Raw (Jun 18)

1. Bálor's Bad Day

Constable Corbin Finn Balor

The main complaint coming out of last night's Raw revolves around Finn Bálor, who was pinned by 'Constable' Corbin in the tag team main event. It's easy to see why this would anger fans of the affable Irishman, and it's a shame that WWE couldn't devise a finish that didn't heap further misery upon the former NXT Champion, but the way he was presented throughout the match is an even bigger concern.

Bálor barely mounted a sliver of offence. He was there to take the heat from the heels, and controlled precisely zero portions of the bout. Limited only to wimpy fight-backs that either ended in a quick tag or the heels cutting him off, Finn looked like s***, and he can thank the road agents and their lopsided layout for that.

As much as the fans love the guy, it's abundantly clear that WWE don't give a hoot about Finn Bálor. They know he's a good worker, but if they had faith in him, there's no way he'd be presented in such a way.

Sadly, this is just the universe we're living in. A universe in which Asuka is afraid of James Ellsworth, Bobby Lashley can pin Sami Zayn with a suplex, and Finn Bálor is a useless goober.
