1. He Was Stabbed After A Fight In Hungary
During the aforementioned Battle of Buda bare-knuckle boxing event, Stuart Bennett would bite off more than he bargained for. Having defeated a firm favourite to win the £20,000 prize money, Bennett was making his way through an alleyway en route to getting to the airport and getting out of dodge. Ambushed in the alleyway, Bennett was attacked and stabbed. He'd be left with a 12-inch scar, which has since faded, running from his upper back down his right arm. On the few times that he's reference this event in interviews, Bennett hasn't elaborated too much on the exact happenings for legal reasons, although he claimed that the other person was left with a face that resembled "minced beef". Despite severe blood loss, Bennett would manage to make it away with the prize money in his possession. Quite how he made it through customs with £20,000 of hard cash, that's open to speculation. When it comes down to it, love him or hate him, Wade Barrett is one tough son of a gun both inside and outside of the ring.
