10 Things You Totally Forgot About Chris Jericho

6. Jeri-Miz Was Once A Thing

From Lance Storm to Sammy Guevara, Chris Jericho has had his fair share of tag team partners throughout his career. However, his most forgotten ally is easily The Miz.

Between 2009 and 2010, Jericho had three different tag team partners (not counting his NXT protégé Wade Barrett). After his alliance with Edge was cut short due to The Rated-R Superstar suffering an injury, he turned to Big Show and quickly reclaimed the Unified Tag Team Championship with him.

Their entertaining tandem lasted until Big Show moved on to team with The Miz while Jericho reigned as World Heavyweight champion. ShoMiz was also short-lived and wrapped up once Show was sent to SmackDown in the 2010 WWE Draft.

That left Jericho and Miz without any allies on Raw, and thus they joined forces to face The Hart Dynasty for their newly-won tag team titles at the Over the Limit pay-per-view. It was an entertaining outing, but WWE never followed up on their partnership after that.

Jeri-Miz was clearly designed to be a placeholder for Miz before he went on to win the Money in the Bank Ladder match two months later, but imagine how much further they could have gone together and the fun they could have had in the tag team ranks if the timing was better.
