9. Ending The Streak
Ending The Undertaker's much-vaunted WrestleMania streak in 2014 was a decision borne not just from business considerations, to be fair.
Apart from elevating Brock Lesnar to bold new heights - the 'Beast Incarnate' would begin his epic WWE Championship reign just a few months later with victory over John Cena at SummerSlam - it also made for one of the most shocking moments in all of pro-wrestling history (and we have a plethora of reaction GIFs to prove it).
The fans, for the most part, hated it (some of them even with hindsight), but put those complaints to WWE and, after telling you that your opinions don't matter one bit, it would probably argue that Brock, by conquering the biggest legend of them all, became an even bigger and more legitimate star in the process.
