10. W/Shawn Stasiak vs The Hardy Boyz (Insurrextion 2002)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n12TAO0J1_A On May 4th, 2002, Brock Lesnar teamed up with Shawn Stasiak to take on the Hardy Boyz at the UK-exclusive Insurrextion show. At this event, Brock Lesnar, who had only been on WWE programming for about a month, lost to the Hardy Boyz cleanly. It was a weird match. On one side, there were the Hardy Boyz, who could be considered light heavyweights, with the bulkier Matt no bigger than 235lbs, and they did not look like a major threat to Brock in any way. On the other hand, you had Lesnar, who was teaming with a lower card wrestler in Stasiak, who couldve wrestled in a handicap match and still won against both Hardys. Interestingly, this match was booked at a time when Lesnar was supposed to be undefeated on WWE programming, yet he lost to 2 much smaller opponents on a UK show. This match shouldve happened much later, when Lesnar had more experience under his belt, where defeating him wouldve been a much bigger deal. Instead, WWE appeared to have just forgotten logic for a moment, and let the Hardy Boys win against Lesnar, knowing that the American audiences might not see the match, and presume that Lesnar would still be undefeated.
