10 Times Fighters Used Their Signature Move In A Movie
2. GSP - Kickboxer Vengence
Georges St-Pierre might just be the greatest mixed martial artist of all time.
Much like heavyweight boxing great Lennox Lewis, GSP was only defeated twice in his professional career and went on to avenge both in dominant fashion.
St-Pierre was also undoubtedly one of the most commercially successful fighters in the history of the UFC, serving as one of the organisation's premier pay-per-view draws throughout his tenure.
Unsurprisingly, GSP's impressive marketability led to a wealth of opportunities in TV and cinema and having listed Jean-Claude Van Damme as one of his inspirations for getting into martial arts, it's not surprising to see the 170lbs GOAT trying his hand at film fighting.
Much like Anderson Silva, Georges made his movie debut in the 2009 film No Surrender, but unlike his fellow list entrant Georges has gone on to appear in blockbuster films in the English speaking world. In 2014 the perpetual babyface appeared as a capable villain in Captain America: The Winter Soldier portraying Batroc the Leaper.
Georges would also appear in the 2016 Kickboxer: Vengeance film, and participate in a fight scene with his hero JCVD, demonstrating the superman punch he used to such great effect in the Octagon but ultimately getting his arse handed to him by Van Damme.
