10 Times Wrestlers Refused To Break Character For The Media

4. Yokozuna - Late Night With Conan O'Brien

Conan O'Brien has had his share of wrestlers on his show over the years, but most of those interviews are from the post-kayfabe era. It's mostly him comparing paleness with Sheamus or whatever, which is fine, it's just nowhere near as fun as watching him try to have a conversation with 500 pounds of silent Samoan in a kimono.

Mr. Fuji handles most of the talking, which is naturally delightful. No one in wrestling was ever more excited about villainy than Mr. Fuji, and he is in rare form, chuckling happily about everything from American dependence on Japanese imports to the death of Hulkamamia. The interview is also filled with bizarre interruptions, including an appearance by Robert Vaughn, threatening Yoko with existential dread from the audience.

Immortal Dialogue: "Undertaker, you gonna be Yokozuna's turkey dinner. And Paul Bearer, you be the stuffing, understand, boy-san?"
