10 Times Wrestlers Revealed A Little Too Much About Their Sex Lives

Everyone is familiar with the phrase ‘sex sells’, particularly WWE, who’ve used performers like Sable, Candice Michelle and Sunny to sell millions in merchandise and draw ratings over the years. The company’s heavily used sex appeal to entice viewers to their product. They’ve done this through angles like Edge and Lita's live sex celebration, Kelly Kelly’s exhibitionist days in WWEECW and the various performers who have bared all for Playboy. They’ve accomplished it in the ring too, with bra and panties matches and lingerie pillow fights.

While WWE and wrestling on a whole has moved away from the tawdry days of marketing female talent as over-the-top sex appeal in recent years, there obviously still remains a curiosity in wrestlers' sex lives from certain fans. This has led to multiple Superstars and others in wrestling oversharing explicit details about their time between the sheets over the years.

Here are 10 prime examples in pro wrestling where talent has excessively confessed about their sexual escapades.

10. Hulk Hogan

The ‘Bollea v. Gawker’ was a landmark court case for celebrity privacy and rights. It caused the blog website Gawker, that centred its content on celebrities and the media industry, to declare themselves bankrupt and permanently close. A Florida jury in 2016 found that Gawker had breached Terry ‘Hulk Hogan’ Bollea’s privacy by posting a video online involving him, made without his consent, having sex with the wife of his former best friend and radio DJ Bubba the Love Sponge. Gawker were ordered to pay $141 million in damages, eventually settling for $31 million.

Comically bizarre details came out of the Hulkster’s testimony – from Hulk continuously trying to get the jury to differentiate between Terry Bollea, human being, and Hulk Hogan, the wrestler, to sentences like "Hulk mutters something in a growly sex voice" and "She resumes giving the former WWE heavyweight champion of the universe a blowjob" being read aloud in court to an entire cross examination/debate on Hogan’s genitals.

Gawker's attorneys played audio of Hogan on Bubba The Love Sponge's show, recorded years before the sex tape fiasco, saying that if Bubba’s fans supported his daughter Brooke's music career, he'd reveal the size of his penis (for some reason). Hogan implied on the radio it was enormous. "I wear a size-15 wedding ring. You figure it out," he said.

When questioned on this by Gawker’s lawyers though, The Immortal One claimed that was ‘Hulk Hogan’ who said that, not Terry Bollea. Terry, you see, apparently has a rather modestly sized package. Amazingly, he stated in court, "I do not have a 10-inch penis. I do not, seriously. Terry Bollea’s penis is not 10 inches."

9. Jon Moxley

Before Jon Moxley settled down with Renee Young and was featured on reality TV/Total Divas, he was an unashamedly wild wrestler on the indie scene who regularly bled the ring canvas red in death matches (and we're seeing a bit more of that these days through his AEW revival).

A YouTube shoot interview with CZW owner DJ Hyde revealed this to be true when he told a tale of Jon, who got his big break in CZW, in his bachelor days involving a woman and a bear suit.

Hyde told how back in his early days, Moxley lived with fellow wrestler Sami Callihan (now with Impact Wrestling). One day, Callihan and a few other wrestlers went over to the hotel and discovered Moxley spread and passed out drunk on the floor dressed in a bear costume. Sami picked up his camera the next day and noticed the memory card was full, so he checked to see what was on it, and there was Moxley, unaware of the camera, in the bear suit, having sex with the girl until he passed out.

While Jon has never properly confirmed the story, he did allude to it on an edition of Raw in 2017 when he dressed up as a bear to team with The Miz to take on Heath Slater/Rhyno. Given Vince McMahon’s sense of humour and his fondness for inside jokes, it lends credit to the story.

8. Dolph Ziggler

Amy Schumer’s made a career as the filthiest and funniest woman in comedy. In a Howard Stern interview she revealed she once dated Dolph Ziggler and let out titbits about their sex life.

"It wasn’t bad, but it just wasn’t for me,” Schumer said. “The sex was too athletic. The first time I was like ‘Oh, this is cool.’ Nobody’s ever ragdolled me. He was like spinning me like a Globetrotter. I was like ‘Oh my God.’ I felt so petite. It wasn’t that crazy, but it felt like we were wrestling. There’s a girl out there that will be so obsessed with him and psyched at all those events — but I wasn’t the girl."

When asked about Amy’s revelations and their sexual escapades, Ziggler said in a 2014 interview:

"It was fine. I didn’t care because it was mostly talking about how great I was. It was more being fun and a little complimentary. It was just weird that my mom was like, ‘What does this mean?’ and I was just like ‘Ughhhhh.’"

While on the subject of Dolph, Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch has let it be known she was also involved in a sexual relationship with him at one point, saying:

"He was really fun. We went from about 11:30/12 o’clock at night, till 7 in the morning. He’s a machine, I should say. Yeah, he’s a machine and he does not tire. His stamina is insane. His size is really good, but it curves. It’s crooked to the left. I don’t know, but it points to the left. That’s the only thing wrong with him otherwise, he was pretty good."

Who knew Dolph was a sexual southpaw?

7. Bella Twins

The Bella Twins are no strangers to commenting on their sex lives. They regularly share sexual tales in interviews and their reality TV shows.

Nikki’s revealed ex-fiancé John Cena made her cut ‘wild sex stories’ from her memoir. Brie’s told the story of Sheamus and Ted DiBiase interrupting and barging into her hotel room when Daniel Bryan and Brie had sex for the first time. When asked where the wildest place they've ever had sex was, the famous twins both said a public bathroom on the sink. Brie’s gone into detail about how her and Bryan only use the ‘pull-out method’ during sex. Nikki revealed her new fiancé’s weirded out about having sex with her while she has a baby bump, explaining that he "will start to get into it," but once he feels her baby bump, "it's just like a boner crusher."

Nikki has also revealed she’s literally taken things into her own hands, saying "Like, I'm so horny. I literally had to tell him today 'When I wake up at 3 a.m. and you're sound asleep, I literally masturbate next to you.'" "Do you really?" Brie asked. “Yes, really! I make sure that he's like breathing really hard so he won't wake up because I'm too lazy to get out of bed," Nikki said. "But I'm like, that's the only way I get some."

Hey, if Tyson Fury does it multiple times before a fight Nikki can do the two knuckle shuffle multiple times before giving birth.

6. Tom Phillips

WWE commentator Tom Phillips was seemingly caught sending sexually explicit messages to a woman on social media back in 2017. The woman was later told by friends that Phillips was engaged so decided to publicly post the messages he sent her via her Instagram. He eloquently wrote to her “I’m in my seat with a massive erection. And a 4 hours flight ahead. I’m going to face f**k the s**t out of you.”

At the time, Phillips usually hosted the social media lounge segments on the WWE Network’s pay- per-view kickoff shows, but he wasn’t there the following Sunday night for Fastlane after the woman posted screenshots of his messages. Charly Caruso filled in for him, and during the WWE Fastlane kickoff show Booker T fantastically asked Charly where “dirty bird” Phillips was, in reference to Phillips’ explicit texting scandal. Charly replied that Phillips had passed the reins to her, and they quickly moved on.

Later on, when Phillips eventually returned he was commentating on 205 Live with Corey Graves and during a Noam Dar vs. Rich Swann bout Tom said something snarky to Corey. So Corey took note, and after Phillips called Dar a “Euro-trash pervert”, Corey brilliantly responded with, “It’s not like Dar was sending DMs on Instagram to people that he shouldn’t have been. There’s nothing embarrassing about what he’s done. He simply stole the heart of a beautiful woman from Cedric Alexander, who was neglectful, didn’t show Alicia Fox the attention she truly deserved. It’s a lot longer flight than four hours for Dar.”

5. Ric Flair

Ric Flair has publicly claimed he’s slept with 10,000 women. The number was so baffling that both porn star Ron Jeremy and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler rejected his claim to be true. It is hard to fathom, after all. I mean, Flair would have had to have been having sex all day every day to even come close to such an extensive number.

Well, according to the Nature Boy, that's exactly what he was doing with his superhuman sex drive. As a guest on NBC Radio, Flair happily broke down his Space Mountain number:

"Well, if you do the math, I started when I was in seventh grade! Let me say that hypothetically, I slept with five people. You'd go to your friend next door and go, '!*$%!' If I had said, '250,' you'd go, '!*$%.' If I said, '5,000', you'd say, 'oh, maybe.' I'm not far off on that number. It doesn't mean that everybody was Marilyn Monroe by any means, but I'm not far off. I was really good at three things: wrestling, drinking, and talking, saying 'goodnight.'"

In his ESPN 30 for 30 special, Ric also claimed in addition to sleeping with 10,000 women he was masturbating at least twice a day. Wow, if it’s true he was applying the Figure 5 Hand Lock on himself too. That is some testosterone.

4. Andre The Giant

Andre was larger than life. He was known for his feats of strength as well as his legendary drinking stories. He was also renowned for the sexual stories he shared with the boys back in the day too.

Virgil’s casually referred to Andre as the "firehose" and recounted a time when Andre took four women and "stacked them up like a sandwich" and "went to town with his fingers."

Hulk Hogan on The Bubba the Love Sponge Show in 2006 actually revealed an Andre The Giant ‘blumpkin’ story:

"Well, we stayed at a big hotel plaza downtown Shinjuku in Tokyo. Whenever he had something going on down in his hotel he used to call me up when it was weird and perverted or crazy or whatever. He was a little wild. So there were these two cute little waitresses that worked out of the restaurant and they were just little cheese size little teeny four foot six. Every time I was down there they were always sitting on his lap. So I’m in my hotel room and Andre calls ‘Boss – come down here. You’ve got to see this.’ When I walk in the room the bathroom door’s open and he’s on the toilet doing number twos and getting oral from one of these little waitresses at the same time."

I think Hulk with that one story has ruined The Princess Bride for me.

3. Sunny

In her autobiography, ‘A Star Shattered: The Rise & Fall & Rise of Wrestling Diva Tammy Sunny Sytch’, WWE Hall of Famer Sunny went into lengthy explicit detail of her sexual rendezvous with Shawn Michaels back in the '90s, reiterating HBK “banged her good” in the locker room and elsewhere, even detailing a lipstick fetish of Michaels’ at the time. It’s worth mentioning all this occurred whilst she was dating Chris Candido.

Of her time with Shawn, Sunny wrote:

"Instantly, I was turned on. I was moist. What red-blooded American girl wouldn’t have been when the ‘Heartbreak Kid’ pushes his erection up against you and gives you chills with his breath?!? I had a pretty good idea where this was going, and what his intentions were. And I was right. Later that evening he pulled me into an empty locker room and kissed me. And felt me. And groped me. 2. John Cena

Back in 2006, when Cena wasn’t the PG hero he his now, he was a guest on The Howard Stern Show to promote his first film The Marine, and made claims that the man on the cover of Fruity Pebbles cereal boxes across America would never dream or dare to make now.

Cena told the shock jock he once had an orgy with six women. He explained he doesn’t enjoy "the back door." He talked about having sex with a large woman, saying, "There was an instance not too long ago where I hit the 280 pound mark. She took me home. It was a challenge set out to me by the entire wrestling roster. It was walk in the door, do the deed, and walk out." He also, unbelievably, said he regularly had sex with his fans, "When it's there, it's hard to say no. It's an interesting time for me. I'm just enjoying the experience." He spoke how the peak sexual experience of his life was with two strippers in Louisville, Kentucky, vividly describing the night: "It was every possible position that I wanted. They were enjoying it."

Don’t expect the smiling face of Hollywood to make such confessions again any time soon.

1. Stephanie McMahon

There must be a comfortability with Howard Stern as he managed to even get Stephanie McMahon to confess to a lot of private details when she came on his show. She handled his usual prying questions remarkably well, coming across as calm and collected throughout. Also of note and rather randomly Dave Chappelle was sitting right beside her during the entire interview.

In quick summary, she went into specifics regarding her romantic history with Triple H and his past relationship with Chyna. She said she’s been to strip clubs before. She said she prefers wearing thongs. She said she enjoyed it when the HLA girls kissed and rubbed her arms/legs. She said she fully shaves down below. She said Triple H is well groomed down below. She said she got her breasts enhanced because they used to look like "packets of melted butter." She said she was open to the possibility of letting Triple H watch her sleep with another woman. She said Hunter bangs her hard. She said she’s willing to try anal sex with HHH. She said... a lot of things, basically.

Can you imagine the Chief Brand Officer of WWE and Vince McMahon’s daughter being asked these questions now in 2020? No? Me neither.
