10 Times Wrestlers Said Something That Bit Them On The Ass

5. The Undertaker Doesn't Want To Tarnish His Legacy

Smash cut to: a sun-stroked Undertaker in Saudi Arabia blowing out of his arse and selling for a wisp of hair in his eye more than he did for Diamond Dallas Page during the Invasion.

The Undertaker was adamant that he would preserve his legend into retirement. On the few, ultra-rare appearances he broke character in public, before his latter attempts to seek pity, the man was adamant that he wouldn't fall into the life bleakly portrayed in 'The Wrestler'. He was a strip joint aficionado who also tutted at Melina for a wandering eye, yes, but he meant the "past his prime and embarrassing himself" bit.

It felt like he actually planned on honouring that vow five years ago. He left his hat and robe in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania 33 before deciding he was a bit chilly, actually. He wouldn't need to wear much in Jeddah, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

He then wallowed in the muck of avarice of blood money and tainted his cherished legacy by working several painfully awkward and dangerous matches.

He might have reversed that perception with his real in-ring swansong at Extreme Rules 2019, but he was more than content to risk the pull of the Streak, just as Vince McMahon did.
