10 Times Wrestling Shows Ended In Scandals

2. The Fingerpoke Of Doom

Sting Survivor Series 2014
WWE Network

Oh boy, here we go again.

Right, so let’s just state the series of events that unfolded here once again, O? Kevin Nash was the absurd choice for ending Bill Goldberg’s 173 match iconic winning streak. He took the World Title of Bill at Starrcade 1998. Then, when he was about to get his rematch, Goldberg was arrested for stalking Miss Elizabeth.

Right at that time, Hulk Hogan made his return to Nitro in order to announce his retirement. A retirement that was coming about as a result of him deciding to run for President of the United States. Confused? Don’t worry, you’ll be so even more. Because all this resulted in Hogan taking Goldberg’s place as Nash’s challenger.

And finally, we got to witness THAT moment. Hogan and Nash sized each other up, the Hulkster poked at his opponent’s chest, and the big man went down like he was shot. The former leader of the nWo then pinned his ex-comrade to become champion once again. The two along with Scott Hall and Scott Steiner then celebrated the re-formation of the nWo and every fan in attendance was left cursing themselves for choosing to watch this stupid show.

After battling Galactus and pinning Hulk Hogan in the main event of Wrestlemania, I've taken a break from living in fantasy worlds, to focus on writing about them. I'm a comic book geek, a wrestling mark, a break dancer, and a scientist. One of those things may not be true.
