She gave five good years for the company before moving on to pursue her musical career while wrestling from independent promotions before eventually landing with TNA. How did Mickie James exit from the WWE? With the resident diva bullies, Michelle McCool and Layla (LayCool) dubbing her 'Piggie' James. The storyline week after week was LayCool taunting Mickie with her impending weight gain and Mickie crying. There were whispers that this angle was created as an ultimatum for Mickie to lose weight or lose her job.
