10 Times WWE Hurt Sting's Momentum

10. Not Featuring Him On The Raw After WrestleMania 31

Despite the controversial outcome to his match against Triple H at WrestleMania 31, fans were looking forward to seeing Sting appear on Raw the next night, regardless. With his feud with Triple H apparently over, it was anyone's guess what was next for him in WWE. WWE typically goes all out on the post-WrestleMania Raw, so if there was any night for The Undertaker and Sting to finally come face-to-face and build to a 'Mania match the following year, it would have been on that show. Instead, both of them were left off the show completely so a lackluster six-man tag team match could take place in the main event slot that the live crowd rejected. Although Sting appeared in front of the electric audience that night, it was after Raw went off the air in a segment exclusive to the WWE Network. He discussed his future with the company without giving too much away; essentially, it was his way of saying he would be back if WWE had anything worthwhile for him to do. Sure, the crowd popped for him hitting the Scorpion Death Drop on Bo Dallas, but his post-WrestleMania promo left fans disappointed.
