10 Times WWE Logic Led To F***ing Stupid Moments
9. Shane McMahon Booked As A Mania-Sized Surprise, Injures His Leg And Snoop Drops An Elbow
'The Show of Shows' isn't just the event where titans collide: it's also become a place where fans pretty much expect to be stunned out of their seats by an unexpected return or debut at some point.
So, many understandably expected WWE to have something pretty big up their sleeves heading into the biggest 'Mania of all time earlier this year.
Instead of having a returning Randy Orton or even one of the hottest names in the game LA Knight strut out to take The Miz down a peg or two at WrestleMania 39, though, the company had a better idea.
One night removed from a not entirely awful cameo from Pat McAfee in a similar scenario, WWE unleashed a return they clearly thought would go down an absolute treat on Night Two: Shane O'Mac.
You know, the same bloke who single-handedly derailed the 2022 Men's Royal Rumble and thankfully hadn't been seen since. Brilliant.
In fairness, those inside of SoFi Stadium gave him a decent/respectful reception, but there's a reason very few had a Shane comeback on their radar heading into the two-night extravaganza.
That somewhat disappointing arrival then led to one of the most disastrous car-crashes in WWE history, with Shane blowing out his knee a minute into the action before Snoop Dogg attempted to save the day with a surreal Doggy Elbow.
Maybe just do the actual logical thing and stick a real 'Megastar' in there for five-minutes next time.
