10 Times WWE Logic Led To F***ing Stupid Moments

7. A Valiant Shane McMahon Loses, But Still Gets To Run Raw

It doesn't matter whether your father tells you you'll never work for his company again or you've just lost an all-important match with 'The Deadman' which means you will not be running Monday Night Raw for the foreseeable - history has shown that the money will always find a way to come around once again.

Seven years (!) before making an unlikely return at this year's 'Show of Shows', a battered Shane O' Mac hobbled out onto the red brand's stage on the night after 'Mania 32 to shake his father's hand and say goodbye to the WWE Universe.

The son of the boss had failed to conquer The Undertaker on 'The Grandest Stage', you see, which meant he now wouldn't be given control of Raw.

But in typical dumb WWE fashion, rather than have Shane deal with the consequences of coming up short in this high-pressure scenario, Vince decided to give his son a shot at running Raw for a few weeks anyway.

The WWE Chairman apparently just wanted to prove how ridiculous a Shane-ran Raw would be after being "upstaged" by his valiant boy... because WWE logic.

Why bother booking that entire Road to WrestleMania power struggle storyline in the first place then if the whole thing was going to be rendered utterly pointless just 24 hours later?

Because WWE had a WrestleMania to sell, of course, and were clearly just making the whole stupid thing up as they went along.
