10 Times WWE Wasted HUGE Teases

3. The Nexus Vs The Undertaker

Helping Kane hold on to his World Heavyweight Championship and bury his brother alive for the second time in seven years (and...fourth time since they reconnected in 1997), The Nexus were targeting the biggest dog in the yard when they battered The Undertaker at Bragging Rights 2010.

It was just about the only b*stard thing the group got away with.

'The Deadman' needed time off to get surgery, and there's something to be said for pinning the break on Wade Barrett and his merry men. The group had been beholden to John Cena's whims at SummerSlam, but a month removed and WWE were admirably attempting to clean the sheets from when they'd completely sh*t the bed.

By the time Undertaker returned ahead of WrestleMania the following, the group had been destroyed to such an extent that CM Punk took over a "New" variation and Barrett was chased away to create The Corre as an offshoot. Wholethingsucked to such a degree that Triple H said nobody backstage was worthy of trying to end the streak other than him, and the rotten sod was right.
