2. Kevin Nash On Big Show

Both Kevin Nash and Paul ‘Big Show’ Wight have proven themselves as top “big men” in WWE. However, the two first squared off in a WCW ring. At Souled Out 1998, Nash and Wight (as The Giant) faced off, with Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff at Nash’s side.

The commentary team hyped up Nash and The Giant as “the two biggest men to collide in our sport”. The Giant had an impressive showing but was screwed over. Bischoff threw hot coffee in The Giant’s face, allowing Nash to hit a low blow.

Nash set up for a Jackknife Powerbomb. He pulled The Giant up into an almost piledriver position, before dunking him on his neck. Nash fell over from the force. Despite the move not being completed, Nash successfully got the pin, as medics rushed to his opponent’s aid. ‘Big Sexy’ was said to be dubious about the spot, but Wight was insistent that it be included.

Nash passed his botch off as a deliberate attempt to debilitate The Giant. The mistake was even spun into a storyline where the Jackknife Powerbomb was banned and Nash would be arrested for flouting this sanction.
