10 Times WWE Wrestlers Shot On The Fans
1. Goldberg Straight Up Calls A Lot Of Fans A**holes
Bill Goldberg has never been one to hold his tongue, whether at the beginning of his run in 1997 or in the last few years when his career has seen a resurgence. He constantly lets promotions, other wrestlers, and fans know exactly how he feels about them.
Recently, in a Youtube interview, Goldberg said the following:
"No offense, guys, there’s a lot of a*****e fans out there. There’s a different generation of fans now, they want to be that guy who started that chant and that guy who made Goldberg spit at him or do whatever...I’m not here to give them the time to do that... the reality is they are paying me to put on a show for them, they’re not paying for them to be part of the show."
Perhaps it was the beer talking, but this version of Goldberg is a far cry from the man who wanted to come back for one more WWE run a few years ago so he could be a 'superhero' and role model for kids.
Although, he does raise an interesting point about exactly how much involvement a fan's ticket entitles them to...
