10 Unbelievable Omissions From The WWE Hall Of Fame
2. The Steiner Brothers
When you talk about greatest tag teams of all time, the conversation is moot unless it includes a mention of The Steiner Brothers. As far as credentials go, Rick and Scott's trophy cabinet must be the size of swimming pool.
Two IWGP Tag Team Championships, two runs with the WWF Tag Team Titles and seven times your WCW World Tag Team Champions, the Steiners have a pretty good track record when it comes to doubles wrestling. Not to mention a run as WCW US Tag Team Champions, the Pat O'Connor Memorial Cup and a win/loss record that rivals any other tag team in history.
As if that wasn't enough, both men have enough solo accolades to warrant their inclusion individually as well, with Rick holding the WCW US and TV Titles and Scott going on to become US, TV, and World Champion in WCW.
As for box office appeal, between them they headlined 11 PPVs in WCW and two in WWE, as well as making a serious impact every time they toured Japan. Meanwhile, they even stopped by ECW, in between runs with WWF and WCW, in 1995 to tangle with Paul Heyman's finest.
While Scott has had his fair share of issues with WWE over the years - particularly Triple H and Stephanie - the Steiners' exclusion from the HoF is almost criminal - though Scott's self-imposed exile, and fondness for referring to Triple H as a "c*nt", is the real reason.
