7. Goldust vs. Val Venis

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SM1Ieg4EK24 Dustin Runnels could never have expected that publicly dumping wife Terri during personal sit-down interview with Jim Ross in November 1997 would have come back to bite him nearly a year later. It did, with the assistance of adult film star-turned-wrestler Val Venis. When Runnels took on a more religious persona, that of a man who openly prayed on Monday Night Raw, Venis saw an opportunity to torment the second-generation star. He mocked Runnels' faith and then debuted his latest film entitled "There's Something About Terri." In it, Venis and Terri engaged in some explicit activity, driving Runnels to tears. The two met at Breakdown: In Your House in September 1998 with Venis emerging victoriously and continuing his affair with the vivacious Terri. He played mind games with his tormentors and physically punished Venis, delivering Shattered Dreams and raising questions about Venis' ability to star in any more movies. It was a fitting way for Goldust to avenge the humiliation suffered at the hands of the devious duo. The feud was ended somewhat prematurely, thanks to the fast-paced and ever-changing nature of WWE's Attitude Era, and meshed perfectly with what had very much become a soap opera for men.
