10 Unexpected WWE MVPs Of 2020 (So Far)
8. Angel Garza
What a crazy couple of months it's been for Angel Garza.
The Mexican sensation started the year as NXT Cruiserweight Champion, but it quickly became apparent that Vince McMahon had bigger plans for the slick young performer.
Throwing him straight into a feud involving one of the most iconic wrestlers on the WWE roster today in Rey Mysterio, Garza became a prominent feature on Monday Night Raw less than a year after signing for the company.
If that wasn't enough, Garza also found himself on the WrestleMania 36 main card. He partnered fellow newcomer Austin Theory in a Raw Tag Team Championship match against current holders The Street Profits. They may have lost, but this wasn't the end for the wrestler fond of ripping off his own trousers.
Since 'Mania, the charismatic star has rarely missed a week of Raw television, battling against stars like Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre and his cousin Humberto Carillo on the show.
With the boss reportedly referring to the new kid on the block as a 'young Eddie Guerrero', expect to see plenty more of the wing-clipping prodigy on your screens in the coming months.
