Christ, this Taylor Wilde vs. Tenille Dashwood match, much like the mundane rivalry, dragged on.
There was no real standout moment from the match. When Madison Rayne, Kaleb With A K, Jordynne Grace, and Rachael Ellering were ejected from ringside, it didn't feel as if it actually mattered. It was a spot for the sake of providing some sort of substance to a dire match. The live audience seemed invested in the match at points, but not in the right way. They gave the match the BritWres holiday camp treatment, with the 'yeah, boo, yeah, boo' schtick.
It didn't land right. Wilde evaded the Spotlight Kick, hit a bridging German suplex for the win, and that was that. Nothing else in the match mattered because this was the equivalent of nothing. It never needed to go this far.
Look, every card needs one or two crowd-cooling matches, so in theory, this makes sense; Dashwood vs. Wilde came after the tantalising five-way scramble and before Matt Cardona vs. Rohit Raju. It acted well to calm the crowd between the two vastly different matches, but regardless, it sucked bad. It probably isn't even the feud-ender somehow.
